School Climate Survey

The Onteora Central School District will be participating in a school climate survey this year. We believe that school climate is an important component in the various factors that measure the effectiveness of a school district. While we currently utilize various academic assessment measures, we believe that adding a measurement of school climate will help us to create a more complete picture of the Onteora experience.

Ulster County Career Conference - Permission Slips Due by Feb. 28

The Ulster County Career Conference is a collaboration of school counselors at high schools throughout Ulster County to prepare students for college and career after graduation. Onteora, New Paltz, Kingston, Ellenville, Saugerties, Rondout and Highland High Schools will send 11th graders to the SUNY Ulster campus on Wednesday, March 11th to interact with professionals in career areas of their interest.

Congratulations High School Science Olympiad

Congratulations to the members of the Onteora High School Science Olympiad team for their stellar performance at the Mid-Hudson Regional Science Olympiad Competition on February 8. Our Science Olympians placed in 24 events, earning 50 medals in an excellent team effort that led to a 4th place finish out of 32 teams. They will now move on to compete at the New York State Science Olympiad Championships, which will be held March 13-14  in Syracuse, where the best 60 teams in New York will be putting their skills and knowledge to the test!

2nd Quarter Honor Roll

The Onteora High School has released the High Honor Roll, Honor Roll, and Merit Roll for the second quarter. 

Spring Sports Registration - FamilyID

The spring sports season will begin on Monday, March 9 for high school students. Registration through FamilyID will open on February 8. Please note that all student-athletes must be registered and cleared on FamilyID  before they can participate in spring sports. Students may not register themselves on Family ID, as a parent/guardian must complete the registration process. Please note that in order for a student to be eligible to begin tryouts and practices, the student must be cleared by our Medical Director. An updated physical must be on file.
