Preliminary student class schedules are now available on the student/parent portal and have been mailed home. Please note that corrected/updated schedules will be distributed to all students in their first period class during the first day of school.

We will administer the PSAT on Wednesday, October 16th. The PSAT will take place during school hours in the morning from roughly 8:00AM – 10:45AM. Students must register for this exam. The fee for the exam will be covered by the district.

Onteora High School has earned a spot on the U.S. News & World Report’s listing of the best U.S. High Schools in 2019. Onteora is ranked 173rd in New York State, the highest among high schools in Ulster County.
Among the factors taken into account in Onteora’s ranking was the school’s advanced placement (AP) participation rate, which is 40 percent, as well as its graduation rate (95 percent). The U.S. News & World Report’s “scorecard” for Onteora also took note that mathematics proficiency among students stands at 92 percent, and reading proficiency at 93 percent
