Watch as Onteora tries their hand at the popular New Zealand sea shanty “Wellerman,” arranged by Braeden Ayres. Vocalists Jasmine Rider, Emily Baker, and Ian Helm help to lead our trusty “sailors,” aka singers, in this fun work song! We hope you enjoy our final virtual choir performance!

HS CHORUS VIRTUAL PERFORMANCE: "SING TO ME " BY ANDREA RAMSEY (04-19-21)

We welcome the Onteora community to enjoy our rendition of “Sing to Me” by Andrea Ramsey. Ramsey’s beautiful composition borrows text from Ella Wheeler Wilcox’s poem of the same name. The poem appears in Wilcox’s best-known work, “Poems of Passion.”

The photography included throughout the video are examples of student work from our very own Onteora Art Department.  Inspired by master photographers such as Robert Frank and his book, “The Americas,” photography students complete an assignment entitled "My Catskills" where they take photographs to try and convey a "sense of place" and in this case our home, the Catskill region.
